DIY Labeled Kitchen Canisters

In other posts I’ve explained how organized I am, so when I saw these canisters at Ross’s I knew I could use them in the kitchen to help better organize our cabinet and counters… plus I love them!

DIY Labeled Kitchen CanistersDIY Labeled Kitchen CanistersI had leftover chalkboard labels from our wedding and knew I wanted to use them on these canisters. Instead of using actual chalk I used a white paint pen. It looks just like chalk but it doesn’t smear… win win!

DIY Labeled Kitchen CanistersYou’re probably wondering why I have salt in a canister instead of sugar. We rarely use sugar and I mean rarely! My husband uses salt a lot so it only seemed right to put it in a canister instead of something that we don’t use much of.

DIY Labeled Kitchen CanistersI thought I had enough salt to fill up the jar but I guess I over estimated how big the canister was! We now have more room in our cabinets and I think these look great in our kitchen and I love the look of them.
