Happy Monday, friends! I hope you all have had a wonderful weekend! I’ve been meaning to do this project for a long time and have had the bottles for I don’t know how long. It’s one of those projects that just kept getting pushed farther and farther down the list. After I finished it, I didn’t know why I hadn’t done it sooner, I just love the way they turned out!
These glass bottles were perfect for this project, height, width, everything. Before doing anything to these bottles, I took off the labels, if you can’t get your labels off, check out my post, here.
For the paint I used Martha Stewart’s Satin paint. I can’t remember what exact color it was and it’s already long gone in the trash… oops!
I squeezed paint into the bottle and started moving it around, that way the paint covered all areas.
After the inside of the bottle was fully covered in paint, I flipped it over to let any excess paint come out. However, there was none that came out!
I loved the look of them just like this, but they reminded me too much of chocolate milk and I was going for a different look.
I used looking glass spray paint and I love how the paint peeks through.
I added simple white roses and that’s it! I’ll definitely be making more of these and in plenty of different colors!
What do you think of the painted vases? Have you done something similar? I’d love to know! As always, thanks for stopping by!
