DIY Painted Vases

Happy Monday, friends! I hope you all have had a wonderful weekend! I’ve been meaning to do this project for a long time and have had the bottles for I don’t know how long. It’s one of those projects that just kept getting pushed farther and farther down the list. After I finished it, I didn’t know why I hadn’t done it sooner, I just love the way they turned out!

DIY Painted VasesThese glass bottles were perfect for this project, height, width, everything. Before doing anything to these bottles, I took off the labels, if you can’t get your labels off, check out my post, here.

DIY Painted VasesFor the paint I used Martha Stewart’s Satin paint. I can’t remember what exact color it was and it’s already long gone in the trash… oops!

DIY Painted VasesI squeezed paint into the bottle and started moving it around, that way the paint covered all areas.

DIY Painted VasesAfter the inside of the bottle was fully covered in paint, I flipped it over to let any excess paint come out. However, there was none that came out!

DIY Painted VasesI loved the look of them just like this, but they reminded me too much of chocolate milk and I was going for a different look.

DIY Painted VasesI used looking glass spray paint and I love how the paint peeks through.

DIY Painted VasesI added simple white roses and that’s it! I’ll definitely be making more of these and in plenty of different colors!

DIY Painted VasesWhat do you think of the painted vases? Have you done something similar? I’d love to know! As always, thanks for stopping by!
