So, are you ready to see how to make your own Homemade Leather Cleaner and Conditioner? Here’s what you need to start making salad dressing… and this leather cleaner Well, I wouldn’t suggest the essential oil in your salad dressing.
Simply mix up 1/4 cup olive oil, 1/2 cup white vinegar, and a couple of drops of your favorite essential oil in a clean empty spray bottle and lightly spray your leather surface. See how dry and cracked it is?
*Before doing this, I recommend trying it in an inconspicuous place first…just to make sure it is safe for your leather.
Wipe clean and dry with a cloth. (Sorry it’s a bit blurry…I was movin’!)
The vinegar acts as the cleaner, while the olive oil moisturizes the leather. I put in the essential oil to cut down on the vinegar smell, but truthfully, it disappears shortly anyway.
It didn’t totally repair the cracks and scratches, but I do see improvement. I think if I am consistent with using the Homemade Leather Cleaner and Conditioner the leather will improve and maybe not break down so quickly over the next six years. Thanks so much for stopping by!
