Hi friends! I’m always looking for unique ways to add something different to our home. I came across these honey bears at the Dollar Tree and had to get them. They jumped in my basket and begged me to take them home. Okay, that’s not exactly true, but they might as well have. I’m so glad I snatched these little guys up, they look great in our kitchen!
I never have honey in our cabinet, I don’t like the taste, smell or texture whatsoever. I do however LOVE the bear containers they come in. If you are a honey lover and usually throw away your containers… don’t!
This is everything you will need for this project:
- Two honey bears
- Krylon Metallic spray paint
- Gorilla Glue
I peeled off the stickers on the containers, front and back. There was such an open area after taking the stickers off, I decided to buy stickers that were raised and put our last name initial on it. I applied gorilla glue on the backs of the letters that way there would be no chance of them falling off.
I did leave the honey in them because I will never use it and it weighs them down. If you use the honey, just fill them up with sand or rocks! It took one coat of spray paint to cover them and they look fantastic! I could not be happier with how this project came out. As always, thank you for stopping by!
