Hi! I couldn’t leave you guys today without not posting some kind of diy project! This one is so simple and took me no time at all. Ever have candles laying around the house that can’t burn anymore or you’re over the scent? Don’t throw them away!
Don’t know how to get the wax out? Easy! Just boil water then pour it in your jar. This step takes some time (depending on how big your jar is, mine is tiny!). I waited about an hour and did other things around the house. Usually, the wax pops up to the top, but this one didn’t. I used a plastic knife and went around the edges of the wax, after that, it popped right out! Make sure the water has cooled down by the time you start to do these steps!
Just take a paper towel and wipe down the inside, if need be, use a wet one.
I had a container of push pins in a drawer that I had no clue what to do with. I knew this was the perfect thing to put them in so I grabbed them and filled it up. I had the perfect amount!!
I had some chalkboard labels left over from our wedding, so I decided to put them to good use! I bought a 24 pack of these labels at Hobby Lobby for $2.99.
I knew that the original label would be too big to put on the tiny jar, so I cut a regular square out.
The label fit right on there!
I’ve used this bead cording before on another project. I love the look of it and I love how thin it is compared to other products similar to it.
I cut off about 7 inches and tied it around the top.
Ta-da! I think this is adorable! It takes up hardly any space on a desk or somewhere in the office. You’ll have to forgive me, my writing on tiny pieces of “chalkboard” is absolutely horrible! However, I loved the way this turned out! As always, thank you for stopping by!
